Official source and publication status

Statistics Sierra Leone’s open-data resources are SLAPIP’s primary official reference for census, administrative and GIS reconciliation. HDX and LamTech OEDP are comparison sources only; they do not replace an official-source release.

A record, coordinate or boundary is not treated as source-verified merely because it appears in the catalogue. Before a controlled migration, the release, date, licence, attribution and review decision must be recorded. See data status for the meaning of verified, approximate and unavailable map context.

Required attribution

Interactive maps display MapTiler and OpenStreetMap attribution in the map control. Users of SLAPIP data remain responsible for preserving applicable attribution and complying with the source licence that applies to their own use.
